We advise our customers against using certain brands of sterilizing tablets with their Dental pods, as they may damage the device. Unlike Zima’s sterilizing tablets, which are specifically formulated for use with the Dental pod, other brands may contain ingredients that form hypochlorite ions when mixed with water.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or SLS, is a common ingredient in many personal care and cleaning products, including oral appliance sterilizing tablets. While SLS can effectively clean and sterilize oral appliances, it also poses potential risks that consumers should be aware of.

It may be wise to avoid products combining vitamin C with sodium benzoate, especially in large quantities or in products that are stored for extended periods of time.
