During the rigorous design process of the Dental pod, prototypes including UV lights were tested. However, it was decided that UV would not be included in the Dental pod for the following 3 reasons.

I often come across patients who do not know how to clean their retainers properly. The Dental pod cleans retainers quickly and efficiently and you don’t need to worry about damaging your appliance.

Patients with restricted hand and finger movement may experience difficulty with mechanical cleaning methods and may not be able to clean their oral appliance while holding a brush at the same time.
