When we set out to create the Dental Pod Pro, we focused on several key questions. As well as wanting to make a more powerful ultrasonic cleaning machine, we also considered how we could make appliance care smarter and easier. The answer came from listening to our customers.
One feature that stands out is the modular tank:
With the Dental Pod Pro, the cleaning tank detaches from the power base, so you can refill it without the hassle of unplugging the entire unit or risking water exposure near the power source. It may seem like a small change, but it’s one that brings a huge improvement in convenience and safety - keeping the power inlet dry and letting you focus on what matters: a deep, effective clean for your oral appliances.
The modularity difference: a simple change with big impact
The modular tank on the Dental Pod Pro is all about making your routine easier. Previously, you had to bring the entire unit over to the sink to fill the tank, which can mean dealing with dangling cords or unplugging your unit every time you use it.
With the Dental Pod Pro, we’ve eliminated that juggling act. By allowing you to detach the tank from the power base, you can easily carry the tank to the sink, fill it up, and return it to the base without ever moving the power cord. The base stays plugged in and safely away from water, while you can easily return the tank to the base for cleaning.
Accessibility
The tank is lightweight and easy to handle, providing a perfect solution for those with limited dexterity or mobility. We’ve heard from some of our customers with mobility impairments that the original Dental pod was the much-needed answer to the problems they faced with traditional and manual cleaning methods, such as brushing - but the Dental Pod Pro takes this even further! While the stationary power base stays securely in place, simply refilling and emptying the tank minimizes the need for excessive movement or effort.
Convenience backed by feedback
This new feature was inspired by real feedback from customers and dentists. We’ve heard from many users that while they love the powerful cleaning performance of the original Dental pod, they wanted an easier way to handle water refills and cleaning.
